Terms of Service

This page is maintained by ApexMedIQ, a BuxTup company, to describe the terms that govern your use of the ApexMedIQ platform and the Sarah AI dental receptionist service ("Services"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.

2. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Services to violate any law, infringe third-party rights, transmit malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform.

3. Voice AI & Call Handling

Sarah answers calls on behalf of your practice. You are responsible for configuring greetings, hours, routing, and any content you provide. You represent that you have the necessary rights and consents (including call-recording notices where required) for calls that flow through the Services.

4. Billing

Usage-based charges are billed against your account balance. Top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices and included minutes may change with prior notice.

5. Health Information

The Services are designed with HIPAA-conscious controls, but ApexMedIQ is not your Business Associate unless a signed Business Associate Agreement is in place. Do not transmit PHI outside of the intended workflows.

6. Termination

You may cancel at any time from your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a risk to the platform.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApexMedIQ's aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid for the Services in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
